Neus Ledesma Vidal is a choreographer and performer from Barcelona living in Bremen. She is currently following two lines of work: #indentity and #movingtexts. In 2021 she is working on the creative process of reBONICO, an homage to the traditional dance of her home town. Parallel she started a research on the relationship between body and text.
In 2010 she graduated from London Contemporary Dance School, where she started to develop her ideas as a choreographer. In 2011, back in Barcelona she co-founded HandMadeDance with Andrea Just, an artistic collective which created multidisciplinary projects based on movement. They worked with video makers, photographers, ephemeral architects and mapping and streaming experts.
In 2011 she also started teaching contemporary dance and improvisation, specially to children and teenagers. With her students from Escola de dansa Spin she made it to the finals of Youth America Grand Prix in 2013 and 2018. She is still very proud of them. In 2013 she finished an online BA on Media and Communication as well as a Postgraduate in Arts Management at Idec-Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Since 2017 she is based in Bremen where she combine my every day as a dance teacher with dance projects as a performer and choreographer.
